The purposes of God and sacrifices…

– Let’s start with Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4 – He had to leave everything he knew and had to pursue this new course).

– Samson had to refrain from cutting his hair. He hit doom when he broke the covenant and tried to undermine the sacrifices that came with his call. Even his mother could not drink wine or eat any unclean thing whilst pregnant with him. There are standards for us in scriptures. Likewise, there might be specific instructions that God will demand you to obey. Judges 13 is a good read.

– How about Adam and Eve? There was an instruction. When you try to circumvent divine instructions or mandates there will be consequences.

– I love the example of Peter.  In the book of Matthew, God called Peter (Matthew 4:`18-22) and clearly defined his call (Matthew 16:18). But remember, he was called out from what he loved – “fishing” yet he went back to it. John 21:15-19

So the call or vision will refine you, define you, confine you, comfort you, bless you but it demands sacrifices. (In Acts 1, the apostles were told to WAIT.) So, you might have to give up the things you love to do bigger things. You can’t bless humanity being selfish.

 

THE STANDARDS OF GOD

Yes, you can come as you are but you can’t remain as you are.  2^nd Timothy 2:13-23 (WOW!). Are you a vessel unto honour or dishonour?

Doing things for God or a form of godliness doesn’t equate to a genuine life-changing relationship with God [Matthew 7:21-23 (MSG)]

John 14:23 (if you love God, you will obey him), John 10:1-5, 27.

If you are with Christ, it will show the life you live [Acts 4:13]

1^st Corinthians 13:11 – put away childish things

 

DON’T REMAIN A BABE MAMA or BABY DADDY or OTHER WRONG LABELS

Don’t awaken love before its time [Songs of Solomon 8:4]

The marriage bed is to be undefiled –Hebrews 13:4

Have you fallen? God has a redemption plan- 1 John 1:9

ALL I HAVE GOT IS MY FAITH…

People ask me what I have got…

They ask, if I have what it takes to get/do what I want..

They look at me out of curiosity, contempt, disbelief…

Some look at me with pity, wondering if I am totally blind to reality or isn’t anyone  telling me the “truth”…

How much do I have in my account  to demand or auction for such a house… I must be mad, they think…

They say to themselves, can she even drive and she wants that kind of car, mtsshhheeew…

Family&friends are getting tired or feeling for me, hoping I know what I am doing…

The greatest Joke, is watching me plan my dream wedding, they mock me and wonder how this will be?

They wonder to themselves or sometimes send people to ask or spy on me as regards what exactly it is that I do?

At times “their advice” makes me do a lot of soul searching to be sure I am on the right path… fortunately, this makes me more resolute because they have nothing on me,

I talk so boldly about certain platforms, my vision and dreams…. And many call it wishful thinking.

I talk so passionately about my ministry and call, it excites me and I am truly honoured to be used by God… Many ask if it is a Job and I should look for something more serious to do that will “PAY”.

I make plans to travel and even mention it, some people give me the look like, “How will that be?”

Many claim and advice I wake up and smell the coffee, “get real dear” they tell me.

Some even go as far as say, “Hey am also a Christian and I trust God but hey at times you have to apply wisdom and be “realistic”

In the midst of dealing with personal fears, seemingly realities, external pressure and all… a question popped up at me, “Hey you, what do you have?” Then this light dropped in my spirit #Gbam…. ALL I HAVE IS MY FAITH…. It came soooo strong

The only currency that can never the devalued.

Yes, all I have to spend is my FAITH which grants me access to Grace, Mercy, Favour etc…

My Reality is my FAITH in HIM… It gets scary at times… Trust me, it does, but it is the best thing to have.

Initially I wondered, if that was good enough, does it make me one of the wealthiest, since finance is the major contention?

I wonder, I just wonder… Lost in my thoughts

Then the answer came… Hebrews 11:6 or the entire chapter… Yaaaaaaay I am so excited. Then HE (yes I mean God) took me on a trip, showing me examples of people, whom all they had was FAITH. Trust me it is the difference maker.

ABRAHAM… All he had was FAITH when he left the, “KNOWN” for the “UNKNOWN”. We know the rest of the story, He became the father of FAITH(what a royal title), He showed us what it means to be wealthy, even Bill Gates or Carlos Slim Heluh do not have anything on him. He was so rich that his lineage today is still wealthy.

MOSES… He had nothing but FAITH to part the Red Sea. The Red sea did not create a walk way because he was an Harvard or Cambridge graduate, or because he spoke the flawless grammar or because he was the wealthiest. If that was the standard, then the sea would not have swallowed Pharaoh (the wealthiest/No 1 man on earth as at the time).

JOSHUA… ALL he had was crazy FAITH, to have even dared to obey God’s command to walk round Jericho for 6 days without saying a word then to shout on the 7th day. Honestly, I’m so sure I would have laughed at the instruction.

DAVID… This guy ehn… Hmmmmmm. He also must have had crazy FAITH to have confronted Goliath, what was he thinking??? But hey, we know the rest of the story of His life.

ESTHER… All she must have had was FAITH, to have began the journey to be the next queen of Babylon… Thinking about it now, ALL she had indeed was faith, her tribe alone was a NO NO, who knows if others were disqualified for this reason or if she was the only Hebrew to even try. This same FAITH was ALL she had to confront the king.

What about Elijah, Elisha, the Shunamite woman (who gave her last bread to the prophet), the three Hebrew boys, Daniel and many more, all they had was their FAITH…

Yes, I must mention that all that the men who obeyed Jesus when He turned water into wine was their FAITH and they did not even know it, lol.

JESUS was FAITH on legs, was it how he rode the best ride (colt) on earth without buying it, was it how He paid His disciples’ tax from coins from the mouth of the fish, was he how He healed or how HE was chilling on the water… You name it… And He passed it on to his disciples, who by FAITH even spoke correct grammar Acts 2.

So I rejoice, I am excited because it shows me that as lonely as the road of “All You Have is Your Faith” can be, many in time past and even today have/are walking that path. From all indication, it is a path of great Success and unforgettable impact.

It is the only Language God responds to or understands. It is the only currency that can be spent anywhere in the world without bothering about its universal acceptance. Its the only currency that can get you tangible and intangible blessings and satisfaction. It is the only factor through which I can please God and be a wonder to the world. I could go on and on.

So I tell myself (and I tell you too), go ahead, dream on, live on, get the house, the cars, make plans for the dream wedding, shop ahead for the kids clothing, rejoice in advance for that Job, contract, promotion, ministry explosion and more, because FAITH can and WILL pay your bills.

However, FAITH isn’t LAZY, or just talking. Faith without corresponding works is DEAD. FAITH is clothed with instruction/direction which can be very “stupid or unrealistic” in human eyes (ask the guys who took the water that changed to wine to the MC) but hey just like Mary the mother of Jesus said to the disciples, “Whatever He asks you to do, just DO IT”. So FAITH does not produce without obedience.

So if FAITH is all you have, even if it is as small as a mustard seed, it is more than enough… You have everything. #Selah#

2016 STARTER PACK

Hello Dear,

Happy New Year once again. Welcome to the 2^nd Month in this great Year.

NEWS FLASH:

This is like a two in one combo specially made for you. The link to my video “Celebrate Yourself” is also included in this post. It blessed me greatly I am sure it would bless you.

Am I the only on that feels like the year is moving really fast with a lot of thing happening all at once? The year is screaming at me saying, “Imisi no time o, get to work and make every second count”. Let me share my thoughts with you and do feel free to comment or add yours. If I am to give you a starter pack for the year, it will contain the following:

1. This year we cannot afford to Joke with our relationship with God. We need to RISE and be the prophet over our lives.
2. No room for laziness. Most times when we are spiritually lazy, it affects every part of our lives.
3. We need to consistently study the word. Don’t just pray, look for a scripture to back up every prayer point. By so doing, we do not pray amiss or pray without seeing result. God is committed to His word. Get a note and make it your prayer book.
4. We must write, keep a journal. You can’t just think up ideas or your goals or inspiration or occurrence. We need to write, make it plain, so you can run with it. Yesterday, I saw a journal I wrote while waiting for my life partner and honestly I was amazed at how much God answered my prayers even beyond what I could imagine. Of course, that experience made me thankful. So please write. From your thoughts, to prayer request to testimonies, revelation, ideas etc, just make sure you write.
5. You cannot afford to be resentful, stay angry or live in offences. Please forgive in advance and move on. If it persists, pray for the person(s) and ask God for help.
6. Lets get this straight, yes it’s our Year of Testimonies or whatever it is to you, but the devil is not on vacation o. He will try to steal your Joy, he would try to lie to you etc. Just make up your mind that nothing and no one will steal your Joy because Joy we cannot achieve anything.
7. Manage your expectations from people regardless of who they are to you. After all, they are not God. So remember, people will always be people, God help us all, Also remember, challenges will come so don’t react, instead respond. If you do not know what to do, PRAY. I know that God always has a way to prepare His own for whatever is coming. No room for pity party, even if the pain warrants tears make sure you are praying or thanking God even in your tears. So, get up, sing, dance, thank God and be hopeful.
8. One of the major take home from Walk the Talk Conference 2015 was, “You have everything you need for your next level”. If you maintain this mind set, you would be thankful and God will open your eyes to see what you have and what to do.
9. It is a year of “Thinkers and Thankers”. Create your time to creatively think and thank God. Also this year, get knowledge. Take advantage of “google”, online free courses, ebooks etc. We must read and develop ourselves.
10. Create phrases that will serve as booster to you especially when it feels like things are going “south” e.g., I will Rise in the name of Jesus, Its only a process, Thank you Jesus, Amen, I have all I need for my next level, God is good etc.
11. Finally, CELEBRATE YOURSELF. Beware of the hidden seed of envy, unhealthy comparison, low self-esteem, pride, condemnation etc. The short video below explains it better.

WHAT A YEAR!!!

Phew!!!!!!! What a year. I know you all have many unforgettable memories this year; some may bring tears of joy to you while some may leave you depressed and wishing you could turn back the hands of time. But just before bidding 2015 good-bye, it’s important you x-ray 2015, through the eyes of God and nothing else. Quickly follow me on a Journey God took me through few days ago.

• Let me ask, why exactly are you reviewing how 2015 has been? What is the real motive behind it? Is it so as to beat your chest and say, “yes I did it” which really isn’t bad but when it becomes a thing to appease your ego or appraise that by your strength you came this far, then it is questionable. Are you sure is not an esteem issue, so that you can also make “the news” that you achieve something and gain the applause of men.

Reviewing 2015 should help you see how far God has brought you but it is not for the purpose of showing off or making the headline news. God doesn’t have a problem announcing us, after all, He made us as light, but seeking recognition by all means is dangerous.

YOU JUST RELAX & LET GOD ANNOUNCE YOU…

 

• So whose parameters are you using to measure your successes, failures etc. Who determines what the pass mark is for you? Are the goals you are using to measure yourself truly yours?

It blew my mind when God started scoring me excellent, I mean this is the year I know I battled a lot, what is it, hian!!!. I was constantly having battles in my mind, ranging from issues on Trust, Faith, what to do or what not to do. In my eyes o, omo all I did was fight. Then God reminded me that weren’t we admonished to fight the good fight of faith? Through it all, I am still bouncing, full of life and I can indeed see growth in my life, if for nothing, I can see growth in my mind. I did not know how much I have grown until somethings started playing out. Despite all you have been through, you are still standing, it’s worth celebrating.

For instance, based on all I read, saw etc, I felt I should be “parting the red sea” but I looked down on all God has done for me because in my eyes all I did was “part the red carnal instead of the red sea”. Please, who told me in the first place that the red sea was what God had in mind or 2015 was the year to part the red sea? Do not look down or overlook what God has done through you and for you.

You can only accurately assess yourself through the eyes of God. For many of us, God is smiling at what He has done through us but because of “failures”, setbacks, tragedies etc. We feel we have failed and we make little of what He has done for us because it is not in the top 10 things Forbes considers as “success”. Please wake up. Stop looking around, don’t look at anyone but God. Ask Him to show you what 2015 was like in His eyes and you would be amazed. While we can learn from others, we are NEVER meant to compare ourselves or our processes or path with that of others.

I remember, something very profound God’s servant, Bishop Oyedepo said, “Have you ever seen a first class student crying because He did not make 100% but had a score that still gave him first class?” What will you do to such student? Many of us are disappointing God by continuously condemning ourselves while God is celebrating us”. This brings me to my next question.

I CHOOSE TO CELEBRATE THE GOD IN ME

 

• Do you appreciate the truth without condemning yourself? I mean many of us, including yours faithfully, lol, cannot handle “failure”.

 

Simply put, YOU ARE NOT READY TO SUCCEED IN THE COMING YEAR IF YOU CANNOT GLADLY ACKNOWLEDGE, ACCEPT AND LEARN FROM MISTAKES, FAILURES & SETBACKS OF PREVIOUS YEARS WITHOUT FEELING BAD OR CONDENMED. God had to teach me over and over again till I learnt to put aside, my “sis perfectionist Assistant-God” attitude. I tell myself, “Imisi, you might not have all the answers or like the idea of failure but hey, you are learning, it’s only a process and ALL things will work together for my good as long as I love/obey God.” sikena. God had to deliver me from over analysing every step.

So gladly review your 2015 especially those aspects you have kicked under the bed, confront your fears. Use this approach; Identify the issue(s), consider your strengths/weaknesses, consider what you have learnt, identify how you can apply what you have learnt and above all, move on with Joy.

• Handling review of various relationships in our lives

Please get this straight, if Jesus can be hurt by people close to him and those not close to him, who are we to be exempted. Did Jesus move on after Judas betrayed Him? Oh yes. Did He forgive Judas? Definitely. Did the ministry move on? Yes o even till date. So what can we learn? Never let anything or anyone stop you from progressing or fulfilling your purpose. NO ONE is worth it, because you will answer to God. Do your best at all times, learn to take responsibility, apologies when you can, make sacrifices as led by God, forgive in advance and when it still hurts, Pray about it and Pray for the person. It works like magic, it will heal you. We must learn to manage our expectations, vulnerability comes with Love, give what you can or have been instructed to give, do not expect in return, more like do EVERYTHING unto the Lord. We must break free from “entitlement” mentality, “I did this for him/her, so he/she should do this for me na”. We need one another, so relationships are very key. But also always remember that relationships could either make or mar us.

So review your relationships with Joy because you are learning and do the needful. Dealing with people is a continuous learning experience that should make you BETTER and not BITTER.

YAAAAY, I AM A BETTER PERSON

Above all, count your blessings, review 2015 in line with God’s objectives for you and if peradventure you were your own boss, doing your things, its not too late to make amends. Plan 2016 with God. We are not to make plans then take it to God, we receive directions from Him and plan with Him. He knows best.

Do not let the devil steal your Joy o, you are God’s workmanship and you matter to God; that alone should make you excited, Review 2015 right.

…When you know God has got your back and the devil cant steal your JOY.

Say, “Dear Father, I ask you to be the Lord of my life, I accept Jesus as my father, friend and Saviour. Let my life be a source of praise to You. Thank you for accepting me and answering me. Amen”. THE UNTOLD STORY OF ISAIAH 54
Is this for real? Like seriously God, you want me to go tell the people who have been waiting to hear what you have to say about their situation to break forth in singing. I know you are God and I am used to giving such “amazing” prophecies but let me recap the situations of these people. By the way, you know I will obey any which ways but these people are over depressed, some of the women are barren, some of them just lost their jobs, some their business has collapsed despite the seeds they sow in the ministry and the lives of people. Need I mention that some where kicked out this morning from their homes or is it the accident that claimed the lives of a number of people last week?… are you then sending me to tell them to ignite a joyful praise party in the midst of this chaos? In His El-Romantique confident voice, God replied, “yes Isaiah, thats what I said and demand from them.”

We should sing? Like seriously???

I honestly cannot believe this, I had to interject again … Pardon me dear Lord, but are you sure you do not want them to fast, make burnt offerings, a little deliverance here and there, you know…

Isaiah, tell them what I said, it might not real when they begin but after a while it will consume them. Also they should get ready for an expansion.

Okay Lord, I am on it right a way. As I prepared to leave the room, I heard the voice of the Lord yet again say to me, “Isaiah you are not exempted from this instruction oh, you had better believe it before sharing it. Remember you cannot give what you don’t have or expect people to run with a vision you do not fully believe in. Work it out son, I love and believe in you P.Isaiah”

HE always believes in me…

I honestly can picture God smiling right now, I cant explain how I feel when I hear HIM call me that (P.Isaiah). Now I know I must work out this word/vision in my life before speaking to the people.

Having done all, I went to the square to fellowship with God’s people and also deliver God’s message to them. As I entered the square with my assistant I could feel the eyes of the people on me like they were trying to see into my soul. Hmmmm, I couldnt blame them, they were so in need of the word for the Now. I smiled and I started to share thoughts with them, finally I got to the good part and I said, “my brethren our God has asked us for a few things, He has asked us to break forth in Singing, oh you barren”. Immediately I saw people looking around confused and bewildered. I spoke up again and shared the whole message with them as documented in Isaiah 54 after which I cleared my voiced and asked, “any questions?”

Almost everyone raised their hands, the summary of the questions being, ” Prophet Isaiah, how do you expect us to do this seeing that we are highly depressed, some are without children, some hopless, and our present circumstance as a nation is nothing short of pitiable!” At that point, I smiled, looked up and muttered under my breath, “Thank you Lord for makin me prepare and go through the process that will make these people believe it is possible to be joyful regardless of your situations.” Staring into their faces, I began …My brethren, if God is asking us to do this then its possible, don’t forget where we are coming from. I am on my own praise spree as well… before I could finish, a man interrupted saying” oh please Prophet Isaiah, it is very easy for you to break foth in singing, afterall you are a prophet, you hear from God and you are sha okay.

Very funny!!!

I laughed uncontrollably as i wondered, since when did being a prophet become a prestigious position? Are these not the same people that judge me, shut me up, laugh at me relegate me for speaking the truth, but for your current predicament you’d rather be where I am? …. oh please. Guys do not be deceived by the outer appearance or the news in town, we all have things we go through. I have had my share of copying with seeming failure, heartbreak, discouragement, pain, lack etc. Infact when God told me, Sing oh barren, you that have not bore a child, I was like, excuse me are you for real?

So I understand how you feel but like the late Psalmist said, “count your blessings and name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.” My dear friend we must get to a point where all we know and love about God are not just His blessings we must get to the point where the thought of His love and Goodness provokes praises in our heart despite what we are going through.

Guys have you forgotten how He rescued us in time past? Common! read up the other chapters in my book chapter 42, 43, 41, 40:37-41 etc. I meditate on what He has done in my life in the past, I meditate on His promises, what He has done in the lives of others and above all I focus on who HE is. Guys GOD CANNOT LIE. It is not in His nature, so that should make you sleep well at night. At this point, the people have started singing, it sounded off tune in the beginning but I am sure once it becomes part of their lives, it will be like a sweet fragrance.

Get ready to Praise, Laugh, Dance & Rejoice…

So are you ready to BREAK forth into singing and prepare for an expansion just like the people did. It might not be easy to get to do this but hey start anyways.
But don’t forget, expectation fuels Joy which should cause you to prepare for your breakthrough. Being Joyful without preparation to expand as seen in the other verses of Isaiah 54 is hazardous.

Keep this simple rule in mind, When it makes sense PRAISE, When it doesn’t PRAISE EVEN MORE…

BEHIND THE SCENES… What is your Esteem Status?

I was totally shocked when I realized that not accepting the fullness of who God has created you to be and living in that consciousness is an esteem issue. You know how it is that we choose all kinds of profession, business, investments etc based on certain experiences and reasons. For some of us, growing up might not have been the best and we are like, “mehn,  I got to do this and this, get this qualifications  et al,  so that my kids don’t go through what I went through or so that I can live a better life”. For some of us, observing our parent’s marriage was a total night mare, so we created our own standards and laws all in the name of marrying right and anything short of that, you just can’t deal. The scenarios are endless.

Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong in determining to succeed or turning your experiences as motivation to excel. However, my question is,  who determines the parameter in measuring your success, who or what determines the path we choose? Where does the will of God which was predestined for us come to play? Are we sincerely satisfied by what we do or who we are or do we get pressured when the world calls your achievement “out of vogue”? What exactly is the motivation for what we do and who we are?

I was blessed to have been found by God at an early age of 8, I just love God (which honestly is the working of God in me Abi who put it there) but I must say that while it looks like my life was all about pleasing Him and He called the shot, I still struggled up until last month about certain things like wanting to have a bit of my way doing some other things that looks “successful”, pick some other career path that looks inviting, promising, popular with more applause; or do some “career combo” etc. I did not or refused to see the limitless possibilities in accepting fully what He has called me to be as well as trusting His timing fully. I strongly believe that I might have struggled less, reduced unnecessary pressure and handled some situations better if I had gently accepted my reality in God, not wanting to be something else at the same time. Until you accept who God has made you to be and do what He has called you to do, you would forever compare yourself with another and that is an ESTEEM ISSUE. I love God gaaaaaan (so much) and I will do whatever He wants me to do but I desire to grow to that point when I go ahead to do the will of God per time without looking or asking a few people what they think or seeking for confirmation after confirmation, lol. I know that God’s will can be pretty scary but we should have learnt by now that if its God, you can be rest assured that so far we play our part, we can go to bed, the Chief Fixer (God) will sort us out, do I have a witness!!!

GOD DEFINITELY KNOWS HOW TO FIX OUR LIVES.

As we grow older, accepting our 1 or 2 or 5 talents as God has given us becomes tougher because of what society is calling success or the path to fulfillment. We would rather desire we had the talent of others or get carried away by what others are doing with their 2 or 5 talents thus neglecting the very thing God created us for. Check out this scripture:

The day I entered rest was when my husband sat me down because for whatever reason I felt I wasn’t doing enough, though I was doing all I knew to do. It somehow still wasn’t enough because somewhere in my subconscious, felt I should be doing more. This desire I later realised is as a result that I saw others doing more plus I just entered a season of more responsibilities. However instead of prayerfully allowing the God that gave me more work determine what was MORE, I was all about forming “assistant God” putting myself under immense pressure on to doing God’s will. So is it possible that some pains and pressures we going through are self inflicted??? Just saying.

Anyways God used my husband to ask me a simple question, “Imisi what has God told you or asked you to do” ? I had just a single answer . Then he knowledgeable said do that one first na and let God let it grow.  He went further to ask  “why are you finding it difficult to celebrate what you doing now and what God is asking you to do” Then It dawned. I was unconsciously beginning to compare myself with people, I was so bent on becoming a renowned success in certain fields” Honestly, I was too shocked at this discovery that I was angry at myself fa, I am like, “ehn, I am comparing myself ke, Choi where is this competitive spirit coming from” Still lost in my thought, God interrupted and said, “madame, stop being too hard on yourself, na my Grace o all this while o, because you have never seen a trait doesn’t you not capable of such”. Another lesson, is it possible that your supposed esteem is tied to things, achievements, level of influence, people in your life,  wealth? etc. Please do a quick and honest check; what is self your esteem/worth tied to. From that day, I rested, i am so loving my life and it’s amazing how I now see many things I was struggling to see. Guys, we can aspire for great things but always check if it is His will for us and what is the motive behind all we do.

So I want to leave you with some questions and I will continue  from there in my next post.

Let’s put your dream to test/check our esteem level:

1. The dream you are pursuing or about to pursue is it really your own? Why are you doing what you doing? Is it really because you love it?
2. Why exactly do we struggle with doing the thing God wants us to do? Is it because we have been carried away by someone else’s life that we think anything other than what they have is less.
3. Why exactly was I created? What exactly did God have in mind when He made me?
4. Do I really know and understand who God is enough to know who I am and the blessings available to me?
5. Are you proud of yourself? Or you busy appreciating everybody but yourself? Or you look down on yourself?
6. Do I feel threatened by some people or someone? If yes, why?
7. Do I truly love myself.

BE ENCOURAGED

Hello Family,

Trust you are having a GREAT June, we still today and tomorrow so don’t give up. There is definitely a reason to be thankful for. I sent a mail to a few friends on Saturday and I felt I should also share with you.

The lord proved that indeed He is God. I have not and cannot get over what He did for my family on Wednesday 24^th June, so I left water on the gas cooker for hubby to bath since there wasn’t electricity to power the electric kettle and I left for work around 6:30. Hubby left for work as he wasn’t in the know and forgot to do the last minute house checks before leaving for work. My dear, we left the gas burning for over 13hrs, I mean from 6:30am till 8:00pm which was when my hubby got back from work. Hubby said the kitchen was hot like it was burning but no fire. Hmmmmmm, my dear, not even smoke, nothing got burnt except a part of the pot underneath that melted. My husband came home and saw the pot still covered with the gas burning at its peak yet it was still covered despite the hole under the pot. Pls I cannot explain this o. Where would we have started from, for heaven sake, we are but tenants o but this our God ehn is awesome.

Honestly ehn like I told a friend, I went home that day asking questions and wanting a sign somehow sha because I spoke to someone I respect so much, who is seriously trusting God for something and I am like, God whatsupp na? With that in mind, I wanted to get home to pray ni o and I saw hubby on his knees praying. Just looking at the pot and all the “what If’s” playing out in my head, I had all the answers to my questions.

This month has been a combination of many things for my family, God saved us twice from death or loss but we have become stronger and more thankful to God. Indeed our next year/phase starting in July is MEGA.

I have come to rest after these incidences that indeed, except God watches and keeps one, we labour in vain. I was reminded that God’s blessings are not just monetary. So while you’re looking at your bank account, what about your health account, your safety account, job account nko, marital account, etc. We have more than enough reasons to be thankful. For one, you are not getting a message of “please support imisi”. So Biko, chill and thank God, He has got you covered.

GOD HAS GOT YOU COVERED

If you indeed love God, you would get the reward of a lover.

Saturday morning, I had a short revelation. I was praying and then I was real to God (pls be as real as you can get to God). Prayer goes beyond words; its a relationship, its communication between you and God. Back to my revelation, While praying, God laid in my heart that He isn’t upset when we take those little baby step in the midst of fear. As in, relax child, don’t get worked up because you feel you should be doing more or be on another level. So far you are taking a step and gradually growing your faith, God recognises your effort and would help you. KABAYA!!!. Are you not excited that God does not despise this our little beginnings, little faith, little seeds or little anything, so far you are not settling. So stop looking down on yourself. To God, getting to the end is not as important as who you BECOME and the people you bless while getting to the end. So while we are looking at the finish line God is looking at YOU and not taking HIS eyes off you. So at times, you are sure what your next move is, then suddenly, God changes the tides or process. Don’t be confused, He is only working on YOU till you become like HIM. So if becoming like Him means increasing the pain, the process or the timing or changing plans or stretching you some more or removing the finish line, HE would do it. So you see why we must always be tuned to Him so we don’t just run with what He has said but run with what HE is saying. Be rest assured, all things would definitely work together for our Good.

So just like Paul, I wanna lay aside what I have and have not achieved thus far, I wanna look unto Jesus, not the prizes or crown but I wanna fix my eyes and focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith because if I truly seek first His kingdom, if I fix my eyes on Him, all other things; the fame, prize, fulfilling purpose, wealth etc will definitely be added unto me.

My dear, so celebrate with others as they excel, even if it looks like God is just keeping you on the lowkey, my dear serve and love even from the back stage. God isn’t done with you yet.
